The establishment of a chapter in Las Vegas, Nevada can be traced back to the Summer of 2013.
Tiffany Waddell, a member since 2006, sought to expand the sorority's presence in southern Nevada. With the focus on serving the community and addressing the needs of women and children, she set out on the never-ending journey of find likeminded women wishing to join Sigma Beta Xi Sorority, Inc.
In the Fall of 2013, several ladies expressed an interest and desire in becoming members of the Sigma Xi Chapter.
On March 1, 2014, Tiffany Waddell was joined by Michelle Bardlett, Melanie Holley,
Melissa Simmons, and Robyn Simmons-DeReaux.
Together they became the charter members of the Sophisticated Sigma Xi Chapter of Sigma Beta Xi Sorority, Inc.

The Las Vegas chapter continues to grow while having a meaningful impact throughout the community. They often travel across the nation in support of sisterhood, accomplishments, and bonding.
